Lace Bug Litany

The characteristic leaf “stippling” damage produced by Lace Bugs (order Hemiptera; family Tingidae) is becoming evident in Ohio. The bugs are so named because of the intricate, lace-like pattern of the veins and membranes in their wings, which are held flat over their body.
