Based on the latest US Drought Monitor, this wetter pattern will be welcomed by many. The wet weather pattern corresponds to many areas of moderate to severe drought. For tree and plant lovers in the drought areas, it will be important to remember that the drought damage is already done for some plants and trees and wet weather won't repair damage if it is already done.
